She says she's done with the PGA, but I have to think she's going to get bored going up against the ladies every week. I don't want to start any rumors but doesn't she look quite pumped lately. Those are some guns on her.
It's been pretty amazing watching her dominate the LPGA Tour lately in the way that Tiger did just a few years ago on the PGA Tour. The only difference is that there doesn't appear to be a legitimate challenger to her for the rest of her "prime" years, so I'd look for her to rack up many majors here in the next few years to put herself into even stronger consideration as the greatest woman golfer of all time.
Annika is truly a class - or two - above the rest of the competition. She's won all 3 of the LPGA events she has entered this year and I know if you include last year, her streak is even more impressive. I wonder what the gambling odds are for Annika to win a tournament she's entered in?
I think for her to end up like Tiger somone would have to step up, and she would have to step down somewhat. Althought Tiger didn't intentionally step down, his new swing made it impossile for him to sustain playing at the level he was before.
Props to Annika on her 5th straight! Michelle Wie will challenge her sooner or later but she has to get her short game alot better than it is right now! Annika is just far to good like you guys say "just like Tiger in his prime." I can't wait to see the Tavistock Cup.
