Funk should have won by 3-4 strokes, he just couldn't putt that back nine. Oh well, a win is a win! Go Fred!

I can't tell you how many times I've seen The Funkster miss that crucial putt...late in a big championship...and come up just a tad short. Over the years a certain, inevitable fate must begin to set in.

It was almost like Fred climbed the unclimbable mountain when he sunk that putt. And he cried after that round. He knew what he had overcome. A great victory for The Funkster!
