go phil hey do you think this will help phil in the masters or will he be fatigued
I think this can only help phil this week. The extra pressure of making the shots that he needed to will prepare him more for the tough competition at Agusta, cause you can bet that everyone there will be bringing their A game
That playoff was the biggest pillow fight I have ever seen.... 5 PGA Tour Pro's... on a very, very reachable par-5.... and not a single bird ??? I've got to say I have more respect than I ever have had for Olazobal... There ain't a way in the world I'm walking off that course with 14 clubs(at least 14 playable clubs) after the yips/wet balls/giving it away... that's for darn sure. Too bad... not to root against Phil, but obviously Olazabal handed a win which he completely deserved away. Could he be a factor this week at Augusta ???????
jackamo, I was checking out some of those houses around the course. You don't need a butler or man-servant do you? Your servants quarters are probably bigger than my whole place. Do you ever get lost in there ?
What a finish for such a sweet venue & a sweet course. Congrats to Phil for handling the pressure. That 18th cup looked a little humped IMO. at Beemer's swing on the last playoff hole, pretty fast slash at it. He did hit a great bunker shot though. This year has been so awesome & now we get the Masters!

I fully expect Olazabal to bounce back and be a factor this week. He's been playing great lately and he's proven he's a horse for that course. That was painful to watch yesterday, though. First the 2-stroke penalty, back-to-back 4 footers and then suck one back into the drink to finish him off. Ouch.
