Augusta National botches the tee times...

I was thinking that it seemed odd that Tiger, DiMarco and the rest of the leaders were teeing off so late! I was expecting them to tee off at like 3:30 (central time since I'm in Texas) or so, but it was an hour later. Here's why:

Augusta National makes a mess of Saturday's tee times

I had wondered that myself. It seemed like they should have been teeing off by 4:45 at the latest so 5:45 seemed extreme. It also had me a little confused that the times weren't posted on the Masters website til quite a while after round 2 finished. Well, even the best have their rough spots at times.

Just goes to show, problems and glitches can happen to ANY tournament committee, no matter how experienced.

Why did the Masters wait so late for the players to begin play on Friday (9:45 E.T.) instead of 8. A valuable 1-2 hours of golf could have been played on Friday.

I was quite surprised.....I was wondering if the USGA was running the Masters after that goof up.
