Tiger tied for first

Ten Minutes ago I was going to post asking opinions on whether Tiger would come from behind to win. That was until I checked early morning scores on masters.org. and saw that Tiger went birdie, birdie, DiMarco doubled, and now tiger is tied for the lead.

My new question becomes...Do you think that tiger will hold on for the 27 holes today to win.

I definetly think that he will. He had it going yesterday until play ended and he has continued that role early this morning. We've all seen tiger when he's had a lead and gets fired up to win. I say look out, tiger's major drought is over.

8 under through 12 holes. What is the record for a round at Augusta?

Man....He is definetly in a groove right now, I wouldn't be surprised if he was four up on dimarco by the end of the round

4th round is shaping up to be a victory lap for Tiger. I was hoping to see some drama. Well, lots of golf left.

Geeze I wake up expecting to look at the leaderboard and see Tiger maybe a couple closer, but to see him up by three after the Dimarco debacle on the back...well I'm happy to see him have a great chance to win major number 9, but poor Chris...41? Ouch. And then to see Tiger was 9 under through 13 holes, so it could have been even better...wow. I wonder if Dimarco will be able to bounce back from this and put together a decent round today?

Has Tiger ever lost a major leading into Round 3? I don't think that he has but he's normally 7/8 shots clear come Round 3.

Frenchy, considering he was 7 back after the first round and 6 back after the second round, this is almost like a 7 or 8 shot lead when you think about it. This is a 9 shot turnaround in one round of golf and a 7 shot turnaround in the final nine holes of the third round. 7 shots in a nine hole period!!!!...that's a major turnaround. And if he keeps it up, he'll win this by at least 6 or 7.

Well 41 ? It couldn't get much worse.... could it ? I hope he gets it together, if for no other reason than to avoid further embarrassment. I think that anything under par probably gets it done for Tiger. I'd like to see someone make him work for it, but DiMarco ? Bjorn ? I don't think so. Everyone else is too far back. Like JimSomebody said , this one is shaping up to be a victory lap. At least VJ & Phil are playing together... that could be fun.

wazman, "could" be fun? I think the better term is WILL BE FUN!!! Two of the best in the game trying to chase down the guy who's created a shadow over them forever, as well as the rivalry that has started with Vijay's little whining and accusations over something he couldn't even see from 100 yards away. As you can tell, I hope Phil leaves Vijay in the dust!

Very true, I honestly thought he wasn't going to be a contender after the first round, serves me right for counting Mr Woods out

I just hope DiMarco has a good final round, hopefully his game won't complete crumble (if it hasn't already) when he actually has to play with Woods instead of seeing him eating into his lead on a scoreboard.

Well I hope that they both shoot about a 64. I have VJ in the pick 'em contest.
