And to add another perspective; when Jack and Tom and Arnie and Gary were playing, they used inferior equiptment compared to today's. Those old peersimmon drivers HAD to be hit on the sweet spot. Given Tiger's propensity for errant drives, he would have been in real trouble with those clubs. Today's clubs are much more forgiving. I say this 'cause I am old and have used them both! LOL!
