tiger is in and don't be surprised if it becomes the best field of the year. w/ charlotte not too far from pinehurst a lot of the pros will go just to sneak in a few rounds at #2 to prepare.

well its about 2 hours away but still...
should be a good field. it was last year.
Wachovia will have a strong field but it has a long way to go to beat the field at the Player's Championship. The Player's is traditionally the strongest field of the year.

thats pretty obvious. i was refering to "regular" events though.
9/02/05 Deutsche Bank Championship, Tournament Players Club of Boston, Norton, Mass.
10/06/05 WGC-American Express Championship, Harding Park GC, San Francisco, Calif.
11/26/05 Merrill Lynch Skins Game, Trilogy GC at La Quinta, La Quinta, Calif.
12/08/05 Target World Challenge, Sherwood Country Club, Thousand Oaks, Calif.
Woods normally plays in the Buick sponsored events as well...
I would think it's almost certain that he'll play at the Memorial as well as Byron Nelson's tournament. Other than that, who knows what else he'll play. I guess he'll play Wachovia but that kind of blew up in his face last year (leading going into the 3rd round and hit it all over the lot...fell well back out of the lead).

I think Tiger is signed to play The Western Open: June 27th through July 3rd....or that's what it says on the tournament's website.....
From what I have read, a lot of the players like Wachovia for the all the perks... Kinda like the enjoy the Memorial, because they know it's run first-class.
Wachovia (maybe)
Nelson (maybe)
Memorial
Buick Open in Michigan
Disney (probably due to contract with ESPN)
Tour Championship
Add in the Western Open and I think you have it. Also, since last year he was supposed to be playing in the 84 Lumber Classic before backing out at the last minute because he was tired from his media tour, I'd expect that he might feel he owes them one and play it one of these years. This could be the one.
