[edit] 2007 Wachovia Championship

The 2007 Wachovia Championship featured a star studded event even before the actual tournament took place when Tiger Woods and Michael Jordan were paired in the Wednesday Pro-Am. The two athletes are friends and have played golf together many times but this was the first time they played together in an official event. Rounding out the threesome was Skipper Beck, a car dealership owner and minority owner of the NBA basketball team Charlotte Bobcats.

In other pre-tournament news, Tommy "Two Gloves" of Big Break reality television fame qualified for the tournament through a Monday qualifier. (2007 Wachovia Championship thread)
