I've got a business trip coming up in Phoenix at the end of March. It starts on a Friday morning. So my plan was to fly out early Thursday morning and get out there early enough with the time change from PA to be able to play 18 before it gets dark. I may be pressed for time. So I'm looking for a course that is reasonably priced that is in close proximity of Sky Harbor airport or the Sheraton Crescent hotel on West Dunlap. Anyone have any suggestions? Does anyone know what time it gets dark out there at the end of March?
I plalyed the course on Luke AFB a couple years ago and it is one of the best courses in all the military. I'm not sure how far it is from the airport but it may be worth checking out.

How much do you want to pay? Do you want to play near the airport or near your hotel? If you answer those questions I can give you a list of courses or if you just want courses thrown at you I can do that too.
I'll only have time to get in 18 on Thursady afternoon. I'm glad it stays light out until 6:30 so I have enough time. Somewhere near the hotel would be great. I could check in around noon, change clothes, grab my clubs and go. I'm not sure how much greens fees are in that area but would like to stay around $50 or so. Thanks.
Ok near your hotel (within 10-15mins) there are 3 executive courses, 3 public courses, and 2 regular courses.
Public Courses
Palo Verde - Only 9 holes, not the greatest course, mostly par 3's.
Maryvale - 18 holes, pretty wide open course
Cave Creek - 18 holes, some what of a desert course
Executive Courses
El Caro - Never played here before, heard it's a good course though
Bel Air - A lot of par 3's and short par 4's, fun course
Glen Lakes - Never played here before, but it has a nice range, use it a lot
Regular Course
Arizona Biltmore - Has 2 courses, one is a link style
Pointe at Lookout Mountain - Very nice course, desert course, challenging
Now, I would reccomend playing either one of the Biltmore courses or Lookout Mountain. Those are two nice courses. However the price might be a little high of what you wanted. You can check out http://www.golf602.com for prices. I would say they would be around $80 around 12, using golf602 though.
