Las Vegas

Spending a couple of days in Vegas end of March. I have one morning open and am looking to book a golf game. I have it narrowed down to Desert Pines or one of the Angel Park Courses. Can some one give me some input on the conditions of these two courses to help make my decison. Looking at playing March 21 or 22nd. Any suggestions.

I've played both. It's been a two or three years since I play Angel Park and when I did it was a pretty decent course. I played Desert Pines a few months ago and it was in great shape. Of the two I enjoyed Desert Pines a lot more.

From my experience (however limited it was) both courses are kept in good condition and you should expect good service.

Are you down there for the NCAA Basketball Tourney? Expect the rates to be raised during that time. I have played the Angel Park Desert course and I really liked it. It was for a bachelor party and if I remember right we were betting on the tourney, from what I can remember the weather was fine. AP wasn't too over the top challenging, but it was tough enough to get you in trouble if you think you were just going to go "Daly" and just grip it and rip it. Have fun. I will be down there beginning of April, so I hope you have great weather.

I have played Desert Pines and enjoyed it very much. Not very wide opne in some spots but if you play smart you should enjoy it very much. If you do decide to play DP then check with Walters golf. If you join them thruogh the internet and I am sure it is free you will save a couple of bucks.Walters Golf has 2 other courses too, Stallion Springs and Royal Links. RL is a replica of Scotlands great golf courses and pretty expensive. If you hit a jack pot then play it(RL) they have the "road hole" score boards, the "postage stamp" par 3 that Tiger double bogied when he played there when it first opened. I have not played Angel Park but I have only heard good things about it also.
