Calling Colorado Golfers

Ok... seems like every forum has a group that lives in the same region and tries to have a get together. So I think it's time for us Colorado golfers to do the same. I therefore propose that we start to discuss such an outing. I know that we have at least 4 here, with Shelby, One Putt, royalwulff and myself.

Wulff is a couple of hours away, but that could be mitigated by setting the outing up for Riverdale Dunes or Buffalo Run. So what do you all think?

A get together works for me and I will drive to anywhere in the Denver Metro area. My days off are Sunday and Monday, so a Monday when the course is less crowded would be better, but i will play either day.

Re: Calling Colorado Golfers

Yeah... this is just an early poll to see how many are interested. So far we have 5... be nice to get at least 2 foursomes.... 5 is difficult number.

Names to date:

Me (Fourputt)
One Putt
JMYBFFT
Shelby
royalwulff

There have to be more Colorado players than this out there....

Re: Calling Colorado Golfers

If no one else shows any interest my regular golf partner and best friend would also like to join us.

If we don't get an even number, it's fine with me. Even better, get him to join up here, then he's "official".

Re: Calling Colorado Golfers

7 Players now officially... if we don't get another GR member, then I'd nominate Royal's friend to make 2 foursomes.

Me (Fourputt)
One Putt
JMYBFFT
Shelby
royalwulff
bwgolfer
SundevilGolfer

5 courses suggested so far:

Riverdale Dunes
Buffalo Run
Fossil Trace
Green Valley Ranch
Antelope Hills

Looking at it, Antelope hills looks like a fairly average muni, though the price seems right, but that doesn't bother me for an early season get together. I was sort of hoping for more of a June/July meeting, but nothing says we can't do it more than once. Who knows, we might actually like each other....

Re: Calling Colorado Golfers

I am game for whatever course works best for the majority of folks, I have only played Fossi Trace but the others are on my list of to play. I am also willing to do it anytime, spring or summer. I have talked with my friend about joining up so we will see if he does.
